Ready, Set, Go

If you know me very well, you know I'd really like to be on the go and walking like my big brother. I keep trying to pull up on different things, but it's not working out to well. Today I got my first pair of shoes and maybe they will help me get going. I think I went pretty fast through the tunnel what do you think??

First Time Sledding

I went sledding for the first time today after our Sunday lunch. We went to Mamaw and Papaw's house and Daddy pulled me on two different sleds. I kept laughing and saying fun over and over!! As you can see Evan just got to watch today, but pretty soon I think he can have fun with me too! The black sled looks big enough for both of us!

Saturday's Adventures

Evan and I have been big boys the last 2 Saturdays. We've gotten to help Mommy and Daddy get ready for Christmas. Last Saturday we left the house at 9 in the morning and got back at dark time. We went to the Muncie Mall and Target and then we decided to keep the day going and head to Castleton. In Castleton we went to United Art, Burlington, the mall, and Babies R Us. The real fun was on the way home though we got to stop at Reynold's and see their Christmas lights. They had a moving train in lights. So, not only did I get to ride the train at the Munice Mall I got to see the train at Reynolds too:) It was a great day for trains (and lots and lots of grown up shopping). Mommy and Daddy kept saying how good we had been all day long.

This Saturday wasn't much different excpet there were no trains today:( But I got to walk like a big boy in a mall!! We went to the Mounds Mall and I got to wear my dog backpack and walk in the mall. Mommy laughed at how cute I looked because I was so proud that I got to walk. Don't worry Evan was safe in his stroller. We crossed a lot of names off our list at the mall and then headed to Family Christian, and then Target. We had several hours of shopping again and boy oh boy Evan and I were really good all day. After the shopping we had to get me a haircut. That part I didn't like quite so much! I didn't care while the lady cut my hair with her clippers, but I didn't see any need for her to get her scissors out! I cried a little and then decided that Mommy needed to sit in the chair with me at that point. After it was all over I got a big sucker from the lady and then I told her BYE BYE. After the haircuts we headed home and Evan and I both took naps. It was a great, great day and only the beginning of a great Christmas Break with Mommy!!!

Thanks Uncle Tim!!!

We love the pictures that Uncle Tim took at Grannys!! We are positively speechless at how adorable we are!! Speaking of speech I had my first speech therapy apointment today. Mamaw and Papaw Filler took me today. Good thing Grandma said I liked the ball pit at their house, because the lady let me play in their ball pit!!! She even said I put ending sounds on my words and I did exactly what she wanted me to do (for the most part)! It was a good first session there. I even got to see someone who knows Lynley and Grandma got to hear me repeat Lynley's name back to her a few times. I think if I keep going to that place Mommy and Daddy are going to hear me talk and talk and talk!

Daddy's Funny

Fall Break

We have had so much fun the last couple of days staying home with Mommy on her Fall Break. Evan got to play at Grandma and Pa's with Gwen and Lynley while I had to go to the Speech place on Thursday. I will be having speach therapy soon so that I can learn more words. I was a little bit ornery during their test telling them no and not doing what they asked, but I did most of things they wanted me to do. After the test when we went back to get Evan, we stayed a little while and I got to play with Lynley and Gwen for a while. They both left so Mommy decided we should head home to. Instead we got to go to my favorite store in the whole world: Target! I love to go there because they have Thomas!!! We didn't buy any though. After Target I was so worn out I feel asleep in the car and kept on sleeping at home for 3 hours! I got to stay up late! Friday we just stayed home all day and played. Mommy got some new toys and books out for me. She showed me some puzzles that she used to use with her Kindergarteners. I had a lot of fun with the shapes puzzle and I love to say circle. All of the shapes are circles to me! On Friday Mommy tried again for Evan to have some baby cereal, but I think you know from the look on his face how that went! He's 6 months now, so that means he will be getting to try lots of new baby food. Friday night Daddy and I worked on our pumpkin. I tried to touch the insides and help Daddy clean it out, but one touch of that gunk and I put it right down and said NO! Mommy let me use a spoon after that, but it was really much more fun to hit the pumpkin with it. Daddy and I put the pumpkin out on the front porch and Daddy lit a candle in it. Mommy says we've got a busy weekend next weekend with a Trunk or Treat, trick or treating, and a fall festival. Sounds like a lot of fun and Evan and I have our costumes ready to go. I think if you get to see us you will really like them. Happy Halloween!!!

I still like baby things!

I am quite interested in doing all the things that Evan gets to do and I think I need to wear a bib still!!
