Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years and Everything in Between

Wow, this has been a busy jam packed Christmas Break for us. The festivities started early in the afternoon on Christmas Eve. We celebrated with Mommy's side of the family at Grandma and Papaw Hale's house. Uncle Brian and Bailey were home too! Uncle Brian couldn't wait until I saw the giant Tonka dump truck he got me. Instead of just playing with the dump truck I prefer sitting in the dump part and letting everyone push me around. Then, I got to see what Papaw has been dying to give me. He got me a new bike. It can rock, then change to a bike that has a handle for me to get pushed around then when I get bigger I can peddle it around. For right now I'm content letting everyone else do all the work. Right after that party we had to jet over to Granny Conners that night. I got so many great presents there, but really was mainly interested in what my cousins Lynley and Mason were doing. Don't worry though I've had a great time playing with all the gifts I got. Then came Christmas Day. After I opened my presents at home with Mommy and Daddy we went to Aunt Starla and Uncle Tony's first that day. I'm not sure how many people were there, but it was crazy with kids everywhere. I was really interested in the veggie tray there because it had my favorite: Tomatoes!!! After Tony and Starlas house we headed back to Muncie to Great Grandma and Grandpa Filler's house. I had a great time playing with all of my cousins over there and eating a little bit more of course. I loved Great Grandma Doris' jello. The fun didn't stop there because we had one last Christmas celebration at Grandma and Grandpa Filler's house on Friday night. Lynley and I got a lot of presents there and then we got to go into the office which was Daddy's old bedroom. The door has been shut on that room for weeks and there's been lots of secrets that Mommy and Daddy didn't even know about that. We soon found out that it's been transformed into a playroom for us. There are toys, a slide, a 50's diner kitchen, a table, a ball pit, and more. I can't wait to get back over and play there soon. That night while we were playing in the play room Daddy thought I felt warm, but it was really warm in the house and Mommy didn't think anything of it. Well, when she was getting me ready for bed she told Daddy she thought I had a fever. Turns out I sure did. It didn't go away so Saturday Mommy and Grandpa Hale took me to see the Dr. I had another double ear infection. This one really did me in. I didn't do a lot from Saturday-Tuesday except for want Mommy to hold me. After lots of tylenol and antibiotic I had my best day today. I've still been a little cranky and let me tell you I've sure enjoyed all the attention I've been getting with Mommy home. Next week is going to be tough on the both of us when school starts up again.
Well.........today is New Year's Eve and I made it staying up until 10. I started to get cranky at the party around 9:30 so we headed home so that I could go to bed. I sure had a great time over there playing in the ice, crawling around, and even did a couple summersaults. There were also extra chairs all over the kitchen and living room so I had lots of things to climb on. At one point I even managed to climb up on top of the table!! I hope everyone has a Happy New Year, maybe next year I can stay up until midnight with everyone else.

Oh Brother

I will post Christmas Eve pictures soon, but I wanted everyone to know that Mommy keeps telling me that I'm going to have a brother. I don't know exactly what that means yet, but everyone else seems to think that's pretty big news. Mommy is worried about what I will think of a new baby at our house, because I don't like it when Mommy holds other babies. I especially don't like it when she holds my 2 month old cousin. I'm not sure what to think of her because she can't even walk or crawl yet. Getting used to a little brother might take some work.

Christmas Break

Yesterday started out awesome. Daddy didn't have to get me up out of bed at 6 am to make me hurry and get my coat and hat on. I got to wake up on my own and Mommy said we got to stay home until it was time to go for the usual Monday at Grannys. It was special because Mommy, Uncle Paul, and Pa Filler got to come too. Lynley wasn't feeling very well, but we still got some time in together on the organ. It's got a high stool, but Lynley and I sure figured out how to climb up there still. After we left Granny's Mommy said we were going to go have my foot measured. I sure hammed it up in the shoe store:) They have trucks and tractors to play with, stairs to climb, and baloons! What more could you ask for?? Oh, I also got some really cool new tennis shoes. My very first pair of Nikes. After shoe shopping I feel asleep in the car and began my nap. When I got up Daddy, Mommy, and I went to finish some Christmas shopping at WalMart. Boy have we sure been shopping a lot here lately.
Today I went shopping AGAIN with Grandma Hale and Mommy. We went to the Muncie Mall. I sure needed Lynley! I wouldn't get on the train without her. There was another little girl in the front car so Mommy thought I might ride with her, but she stood in my way and screemed no, so that was it for me, no train ride. Luckily after we did some more shopping Daddy came by to visit me on his lunch and he rode the train with me!! After the mall we had some lunch at Wendy's and then headed home. Grandma was getting worried when the rain and ice started to come down. I didn't know anything about it because as usual I fell asleep in the car for my nap. By the time we got home I was ready to go some more. Mommy did some cleaning and she even let me help with the vaccum. Then I decided to go watch some Playhouse Disney while Mommy finished up. Looks like we better stay in tonight because it's getting icy and slick outside.

Chillin in my Chair

This is the way I like to relax in my chair in the evenings. Especially this week. I've had a little bit of a yucky stomach bug. Mommy and Daddy knew something was up because I haven't been wanting to eat much at all! That's sure a change for me. I've been drinking a lot of pedialyte and resting a lot. Last night instead of going to bed quiet like usual I got some extra snuggle time with Mommy because when she tried to put me to bed I cried and cried. She felt bad since I don't feel good and got me up and let me watch my praise baby movie. Don't tell anyone, but she even gave in and let me have my pacifier last night too:) She said not to get used to it though:( Pretty soon I'll be back to my usual self and have more adventures to write about. Mommy said one more week and she will get to stay home with me for 2 whole weeks! Then we will really have some fun days to blog about!

Santa Train

Lynley and I officially decided that there was no need to sit on Santa's lap, when there's a train to ride instead. We had a great time and didn't want to get off when it stopped. We got to ride 2 times and it was so much fun. After we walked around the mall for a little bit we headed to Etza Pizza for lunch. Lynley and I got to play some games after we ate a little lunch. We really like the Ski Ball. Pretty soon we'll be able to throw the ball hard enough to make it in the rings. It was a great Saturday. After lunch we stopped at a couple of stores and after the second one we weren't but about a minute down the road and I was out. I must have had a fun day because I slept all the way home from Muncie and then another two and a half hours at home! Enjoy the pictures of us on the train.

This one's for you Grandma

Grandma and probably some of my other blog readers have noticed that I've gotten a little behind again. So... here are some recent photos for you to enjoy. These pictures were taken as we were leaving Amelia's birthday party. Our Mommies work together.
