Gettin Behind

I've gotten behind on my bloggin and I was doing so good. I don't have too much to report. I am working on getting 3 new teeth all at once. They have all barely broken through my gums. Mommy is hoping that's why I'm getting up so early and sleeping out in the living room with her again. She said something about having to go for another ear check again this week. I'm sure not looking forward to that. Someone has to be the bad guy and hold me down while the dr. sticks that awful thing in my ear. Hopefully we get good news. I do think they give me yummy medicine, but I know mommy doesn't want me to still be sick. Tomorrow should be a good day. After 2 weeks off I will get to go back to Granny Conners to hang out with Lynley, Granny, Mommy, Aunt Sabra and maybe Grandma Filler and the Clark girls. I'm sure Gwen misses me a lot because I don't get to see her every week anymore. I'll have to make sure we have the camera to capture some good pics for my devoted blog readers. Daddy is so Funny

Everyday I get to spend all day at home having a good time playing with Mommy. Then when Daddy gets home we eat supper and Daddy and I usually play for a while. Well tonight Daddy and I really had some fun and I was laughing so hard. You'll see when you watch the video.

Shopping Day

Yesterday at the Edinburgh Outlet Mall, I got a couple of great outfits that Grandma and Grandpa bought. Can you believe they have so many great baby stores in one place. Carters, Gymboree, Kids Superstore, Stride Rite, OshKosh, and Children's Place. I got my first pair of tennis shoes too. I'm not too sure about them yet. I just think I could go barefoot everywhere. After I keep wanting to get down everywhere Mommy said it's gross and I needed shoes. I got some great tennis shoes at the Stride Rite store. Mommy told Daddy it was a good time to save some money on shoes for me. After we shopped for quite a while we went to eat at Max and Ermas. We'd never been there before. Grandma had some potato soup that I thought was great. I also got some pieces of Mommy's breadstick and turkey off her sandwich.

Today we've been pretty busy. We started out the day with a nice long walk. After that we had some breakfast and Mommy did some dishes while I played in my highchair and had some puffs. Then I decided to take a morning nap. After my nap we went to Kroger today for groceries and got some better foods so that we can keep eating at home more often. After shopping Mommy stopped at Subway and then we came home and I had some lunch then Grandpa Hale stopped by. I played with him for a few minutes then he had to go. After he left I threw a fit about him leaving and decided I was getting pretty sleepy. I think I'm still worn out from TN. This is my second nap today. I went to sleep so quickly for each nap. I'm a growing boy you know!

On to Another Adventure

Well we decided to let Bailey and Brian rest today before they have to get up and go to work tomorrow morning, so we left earlier than planned. I heard something about how Bailey has to get up at 5 am to start her commute. I like to get up early, but that is waaaay early. I found out she works with babies and young kids. She gets to do some of the stuff that pediatricians do without the shots. Boy do I wish I could just go for that!!! No shots or ear checks would be great with me. Brian and Bailey had some houses to look at today too and they told us they would be in their first house next time we come to visit. It would be cool to see Uncle Brian more and live in the mountains, but I’d get pretty lonely without my cousin Lynley. We’re gonna have to get together soon. Since we’ve both been sick we haven’t seen each other in a whole week now! That doesn’t happen too often. We have too much trouble to get into together.
The new adventure I heard the grownups talking about is going to stay the night in Columbus Indiana and going to Nashville and Edinburgh Outlet Mall tomorrow. I heard Mommy say something about some baby stores there so maybe I’ll score some new clothes again. Uncle Brian thought I was a pretty sharp dresser so I’ve got to keep that up. I’ll have to let you know what fun things we find. Oh wait I forgot another adventure I already had today. Uncle Brian gave me my very first eye exam and said that everything looks fin inside my eyes. It was quite a show with everyone making funny noises while Uncle Brian held all different things in front of my face. Daddy got an exam and new Nike glasses. He’s going to be stylin. Grandma got some Coach sunglasses and Mommy tried on some more Coach frames that were new. Aunt Sabra you would have found some cute glasses too. Maybe someday we can go together so Lynley can see the Aquarium too. I also saw a kids discovery museum by the Aquarium I think I’ll be ready for next time. Ok, I’ve got to go. Great Day

I slept so well last night and I felt really good today. No fever and I was ready to check out Chattanooga! The car rides are curvy and hilly around here. We did a little shopping this morning while Uncle Brian worked and then went to eat at Subway. They sure have great bread!! After Uncle Brian got home we headed downtown. I got to go to the Aquarium. It was so cool. I really liked watching the big sharks and sting rays swim by. They even had a butterfly garden. One butterfly flew right down in front of my face and I followed it for a while. After we went to the Aquarium we went to a cool pizza place to eat. It was called the Mellow Mushroom. There were two cute little girls who had me laughing and smiling a lot at the table behind us. After leaving there we headed to Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream store. I got to try a little bit of mommy's frozen yogurt. I even had a small piece of her sugar cone. When we got back I got to spend time with Uncle Brian while Mommy and Daddy went to Wal Mart to get some forgotten items. I was really tired, but then I got nice and wound up for some more play time when we got back to the house. I really like Bailey's dog. He's big, but he's so calm and lovable. Greetings from TN

Hello everybody. I'm enjoying my time on my second trip to Uncle Brian's. This time I will get to spend lots of time with my future Aunt Bailey too!! Today I took it pretty easy and slept most of the 7 hour trip here. I even slept through Mommy and Daddy eating at Sonic. I know Mommy was happy they got to go there. She had been jonesing for a Strawberry Limeaid from there for a long time. After we got here we got to hang out at Brian and Baileys. Uncle Brian is pretty good on the grill. I tried some of his chicken and found out that baked beans aren't too bad either. The big news of the day is I figured out how to climb stairs pretty soon after getting here. Daddy's got it on the video camera so I can post it when we get home. My ears are feeling better and my fever is gone, but now I'm in the spotty dotty club with Lynley. I have a rash all over my legs, feet, hands and back. Don't worry, it's not keeping me down. I know we are going to have lots of adventures here in Chatanooga so I'll update you after I get a good night's sleep tonight.

Making the Rounds

Lets see so far today I've slept on Mommy in the recliner from 4-6:30 a.m. Mommy couldn't figure out why I wouldn't sleep last night, so she was too tired at that point and so sleep in the chair vs. no sleep at all won out. Then since I kept Mommy up from 1-4 this a.m. Grandma Hale came to pick me up for a little while. Mommy was supposed to take a little nap while I was gone, but she couldn't sleep. When she got out to Grandma's I decided to snuggle up with her in the chair. I even let Grandma put a blanket on my head since the sun was shining in on me. Hello people I don't even wear hats, let alone put a blanket on my head. Mommy said I would knock it off, but I kept it there and fell right to sleep. I was onto sleep #2in a recliner. While I was napping Mommy kept feeling me get warmer and warmer so she took my temperature while I was still asleep. It was 101.2. That was all it took. A call to the Dr. soon followed. I have an ear infection in both ears again folks can you believe it? Grandpa Hale went with me to the Dr. He sure did all he could to make the looking in my ear part better, but I just hate it and I scream for that part every time. The same thing I just got over that a few weeks ago and bam back again. All this on top of the fact that on Friday morning I'm supposed to be going to see my Uncle Brian. I know he misses me a bunch so I'm going to be taking my medicines and ear drops like a big boy so I can feel better for Uncle Brian and my future Aunt Bailey. As you can see from the picture I have now moved on to laying on Daddy in the recliner. Boy this is the life!!

Not Sleepy

It's 10:30 and Mommy keeps telling me I need my sleep because we're babysitting Lynley. I'm just choosing not to listen to her. I am not looking, acting, or feeling tired in the least. We're sitting side by side on the couch now watching one of my praise baby dvd's. I'm going to leave you with some pictures of my latest adventures at Menards.

Big Week

This has been a big week for me so far. Mommy has kept me busy. To start the week on Monday we went to Granny Conners. I had a lot of fun playing with Lynley and visiting with Granny, Aunt Sabra, Great Aunt Ruth and Great Aunt Clata. Uncle Bob was there for a little bit too and I sure loved staring at his hat. After we went there we went to Grandma and Grandpa Filler's house. Daddy had to work on their computer so we stayed there and ordered some Papa John's. I didn't eat any pizza, but I tried their breadsticks. The best part about Monday is I got to go to the Middletown Fair. Daddy took me on the carosel and I got to sit on one of the horses. I wasn't too sure about the ride in the beginning, but I think I started to like it. Tuesday night is the big Middletown parade. Mommy has a tradition where she goes over to Audras and watches the parade and they all have tacos in a bag. Once the parade started everyone thought I was going to be ok, but do they have to have so many sirens?? Daddy had to take me in their backyard until all the sirens were past. The people in the parade kept throwing candy and all the kids were going crazy chasing after it. I can't wait until I get a sack to collect candy. I just mostly chilled on the swing with Chris and people watched. On Wednesday Daddy had another computer call so we got to go over to Brittany and Adam's house. They had just been using their smoothie maker they got for the wedding and I decided to only let Mommy have one drink and I finished the whole cup for her. I barely had time to stop to breathe that thing was so good. It was bananna strawberry. Today, so far I've been to Target and Wendys with Mommy and Grandma Hale. I was so tuckered out when we got back Mommy said I was going to take a nap. I didn't put up a fight at all. I think this 90ish degree weather takes it out of us babies! Tonight is family dinner at Filler's house. Lynley and I both get to have our daddies eat with us now, since the daddies work daytime hours now. It will be tons of fun.

Great Sunday

Today was a great day. We got up and went to church. I had a great time in the nursery during Sunday School with Miss Lisa, she's the pastor's wife. She even got me to take a little nap. After my nap while it was still church time I wasn't too happy and playful. I keep trying to tell everyone that I'm glued to my mommy these days, but she still keeps trying to get me to branch out! After church we met Grandma and Grandpa Hale for lunch and then we went to Menards. I'm telling you Lynley had the right idea about that place. Mommy looked at flowers while Daddy and I played a little while on their playground. I'll have to post pictures tomorrow. After we got back from Menards Mommy tried to get me to take a nap, but I vetoed that idea real quick. She was feeling pretty good thinking she got me to sleep and I shot up on her lap all wide eyed and ready to go. So then Mommy and Daddy took me outside and let me play in the water. That was a lot of fun and no it did not wear me down as they had hoped. I decided at 5 that I should probably take a nap. Mommy woke me up at 6:30 for a big suprise. Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Doug, and Aunt Peggy came over for a cookout. Daddy had the backyard all decked out with our canopy and umbrella table. We had a great time and I even got a new toy that shoots balls out from Grandpa. I sure loved it and can't wait for Lynley to see it. Well I better go, tomorrow I get to go to Granny Conners house with my Mommy. Boy I'm loving having her home.
